Arkansas Drone Pilots Create Clean Up Campaign
Members of the Drones Over Arkansas group have committed to cleaning up the environment one Fly-In at a time.
The Springdale based, statewide club meets is selected areas around the state of Arkansas as a group to show off their equipment and take beautiful aerial pictures and videos with like minded people.
With over 325 members, the group includes Hobbyists, Business Owners, a College Dean, Public Safety members and even a Mayor. The events are open for anyone to attend who may want to learn more about the hobby, FAA laws and the technology.
The “Fly-In, Carry-Out” events are designed to share the hobby and, at the same time clean up the trash in the areas we fly in. Attendees carry Garbage Bags to the event, pick up trash and dispose of properly after the event.
